We interviewed Luis Fernando Arruda de Carvalho, Enjoy Australia's GET THE JOB YOU WANT coach and asked him "what are the two tools a job hunter could not live without?"

Here is the answer:

" Imagine yourself on a hot summer day, laying down beside a sparkling blue swimming pool, some Latin music on the speakers, drinking a cold and colourful cocktail, totally relaxed and knowing that all your most ambitious goals are on track to be achieved. That’s my idea of excellent productivity.

The concept of doing more with less effort always amazed me. With this vision in mind I’ve searched, read, bought and experimented almost all that is out there in terms of books, blogs, apps, websites, software and productivity tools.

In 2001 I started to apply the concepts of David Allen’s book "Getting Things Done" - David Allen is the productivity guru The Guardian once described as “the man who can bring order to your universe".

I share a quick explanation of GTD's principles and strategies on the following mind map but if you wanna go deeper I recommend the book.

GTD's mind map by Luis Fernando Arruda de Carvalho.

I loved everything about GTD. It really resonated with my beliefs. Getting better each day but not exactly where I wanted to be, I struggled to find a useful tool to put everything together and truly process my “stuff”.

So I continued to learn and try different tools until I found "The Secret Weapon"

I’m serious. The number one tool I recommend is called: "The Secret Weapon"

I know it may not sound like much, but it is! Really. The Secret Weapon brings to you FOR FREE a quick guide to apply the concepts of David Allen’s book "Getting Things Done" using the second tool I recommend: Evernote

For years, as Whitson Gordon from Lifehacker, I have been hearing how awesome Evernote was and feeling frustrated because I never really "got into it" before.

Well, not anymore.

The Secret Weapon putted both together and it has been really working for me and for my coaching clients, whether during their job hunt or after starting a career in Australia.

What can I say, if a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a picture of the place from  where I am writing this blogpost."
